Towards the American International
Abstract
Before entering into a discussion about the best way to organize continental unity, it is necessary to answer the following question: who will make the unity of America?
There are several organizations that proclaim fraternity among the peoples of the Continent. Let's leave aside the hypocritical cries of diplomats in the great bacchanalia of the inauguration ceremonies of a new government or in some ridiculous official celebration: they will never obtain a practical result. Certain Latin American scientific congresses could somehow serve the ideal of union, if they were not used by the Saintet governments as propaganda for their despotic systems.
