Along the lines of history: socialist feminists and experiences of resistance
Abstract
This article seeks to elucidate some lines of women’s history, from some trajectories. We revisit experiences of resistance and collective construction, based on socialist perspectives. At first, we will briefly discuss the transformations in the field of history that, at a slow pace, create better conditions to advance the understanding of women’s history, forgotten in file drawers. Then we take advantage of the centenary of the Communist International to recover two trajectories: Alexandra Kollontai (1872-1952) and Flora Tristán (1803-1844). Finally, the course of this text ends with the experience of the World March of Women in the Brazilian context. Three distinct syntheses, from different contexts, characterized by socialist and internationalist feminism.
